Olier
Albert brings to the Precede
team experience as an engineer, technical manager, project
leader and marketing and business development manager.
Before joining Precede, Albert served as the marketing
and business development manager of ZettaLight, a start-up
company in the market of optical components. In 1998, Albert
founded the Optical Communications group of Chromatis Networks
and was its first director. He was appointed as the senior
director for hardware and optics development after the
acquisition of Chromatis by Lucent Technologies in 2000.
Albert served as a senior hardware engineer at Scorpio
Communications from 1993 to 1996, and in 1997, after Scorpio
was acquired by US Robotics which later merged with 3Com,
he became a senior system engineer. Prior to that, Albert
led advanced projects of Avionic systems.
Albert holds a Masters degree and a Bachelors of Science
(Cum Laude) degree, both in Electrical Engineering from
the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa.
